Diriyah & At-Turaif Tickets: Don't Mix Up Your Bookings
At-Turaif entry, Bujairi access, dinner and parking can be separate bookings. Check what each product covers before planning your Diriyah evening.

On this page
A Diriyah dinner reservation and an At-Turaif heritage visit are not automatically the same booking. Separate site access, the restaurant and parking before arranging the evening. The checklist below helps you spot what still needs confirming so a promising plan does not unravel at arrival.
This guide explains the decisions in the order you need them. It does not invent an October ticket price: the official booking flow required sign-in before date-specific selection during our check. Confirm the final product and availability for your visit rather than relying on a familiar price from an older guide.
Decide whether heritage, dining or both is the priority
| Part of the visit | What to plan | Do not assume |
|---|---|---|
| At-Turaif | Heritage access, opening and time to explore | Every access product guarantees every time slot |
| Bujairi Terrace | Precinct access and the route between stops | An old free-entry promotion still applies |
| Restaurant | A separate table at the right time | An access ticket reserves a meal |
| Arrival and parking | Current directions and final transport cost | A dining promotion includes parking at all times |
If At-Turaif is the main reason for the trip, place it first in the schedule and choose dinner afterward. If the visit is mainly a special meal, still leave time to understand the surrounding setting rather than arriving at the table deadline and departing immediately.
For travellers who prefer a lighter evening, one focused heritage block and a simple meal may be enough. You do not need to add every nearby district or shopping area. The most useful plan is the one that fits the available opening window and your party's energy.
Check current hours and avoid expired access offers
At the time of checking, Diriyah's visitor page listed At-Turaif at 17:00–00:00 with final entry at 23:00. The linked ticket description showed different hours. Its free Bujairi promotion covered 1 May–30 September 2026, which is now past. Confirm the current date-specific position through the official channel. [1] [2]
This mismatch is a reason to reconfirm, not to combine the most convenient parts of both pages. Ask which entry time applies to the ticket you are buying and whether there is a separate last-admission rule for the part you want to visit. Save the response if your itinerary depends on it.
Do not schedule arrival at the last-entry minute. Travel, parking, walking and ticket checks use time, and entering just before a cutoff can leave little opportunity to explore. Choose a comfortable margin and a dinner time that does not force you to rush through the heritage area.
Check again shortly before the visit for special events, temporary access changes or revised directions. A confirmation obtained weeks earlier is useful evidence of a booking, but current operational instructions still matter for the journey on the day.
Read the access product before buying dinner separately
The official access description includes Bujairi and At-Turaif access subject to availability, and its terms distinguish admission from restaurant table availability. The ticket is tied to the selected date and a single entry. Read the exact current inclusion list, including any dining-credit wording, rather than assuming every offer has the same benefits. [2]
If a dining credit is offered, ask how much applies, which outlets accept it, whether there is a minimum spend and when it expires. A credit that requires a meal you would not otherwise buy is not equivalent to a cash discount. Compare the amount you will actually pay for the whole evening.
- Check the exact visit date and all guest categories.
- Confirm what access is included and whether any part is capacity-dependent.
- Reserve the desired restaurant separately and keep its cancellation conditions.
- Check whether leaving the precinct affects re-entry.
- Save both the access confirmation and the restaurant booking.
Families should verify current child admission and accompaniment conditions using the official terms, with any requested evidence of age. Do not apply a restaurant's children's menu policy to the access ticket. If a family member will skip the heritage section, clarify the plan before purchasing the group booking. [3]
Arrival, parking and the cost of convenience
The current visitor page lists Samhan parking at SAR 30 for three hours plus SAR 10 for each additional hour. It lists valet at SAR 195 for vehicles dropped off after 15:00. These are parking arrangements, not attraction admission prices; check current conditions and directions before driving. [1]
Compare parking with the total of a return vehicle journey from your hotel. Driving may be convenient for your wider day, while a direct ride avoids parking decisions. Neither option removes the need to identify the correct arrival point and the walk from there to your first booking.
Diriyah's official page carries road-diversion notices. Use its current directions and tell a driver the specific drop-off area rather than only the broad destination name. If a hotel or tour operator gives different advice, ask them to explain the current approach and where the return pickup will occur.
A dining-related parking benefit can have a spending threshold, time window and validation process. Confirm all three before treating it as a saving. Do not increase your meal bill solely to reach a threshold without comparing the final cost with ordinary parking.
A practical evening sequence
- Arrive with time for the final walk, entry checks and a short orientation.
- Visit the heritage area while your energy and the available time are sufficient.
- Take a break before moving to the restaurant.
- Keep dinner at a realistic distance and time from the heritage visit.
- Return to the agreed pickup or parking point with the route saved.
As an editorial allowance, set aside around three to four hours for a combined heritage-and-dinner visit, plus transport. Adjust upward for a detailed guided visit or a slower walking pace. This is not an official minimum duration, and it should not override the actual hours or your reservation.
Wear comfortable shoes for walking and bring only a manageable day bag. Consider how steps, uneven surfaces or a long approach affect anyone with mobility needs. Ask the venue about the actual accessible route before booking rather than assuming the whole visit is straightforward because a restaurant is accessible.
For photographs, choose pauses that do not block narrow routes or disturb other visitors. Follow on-site instructions around protected areas and any restrictions on equipment. The setting is more enjoyable when the visit allows time to look closely rather than rushing between scheduled photo stops.
Handle changes before they become an expensive evening
Check cancellation terms separately for the access product, restaurant and transport. Changing one does not automatically change the others. If the visit time moves, contact each provider with enough notice and keep the revised confirmations together.
If access to the heritage area becomes unavailable, decide whether the remaining dining visit still meets your purpose. That decision should be based on the booking terms and your interests, not pressure to use a reservation simply because part of it is already paid. Ask what alternative or remedy the operator offers.
Keep one flexible Riyadh evening so that an adjustment does not force a difficult choice between several non-refundable bookings. Diriyah is easier to enjoy as a deliberate part of a city stay than as a tightly timed stop between a desert tour and a flight.
BEFORE YOU GO
Common questions
Is Diriyah free to enter now?
Do not rely on the published May–September 2026 offer after its end date. Confirm the current access product and price for your day through the official ticketing channel.
Does an access pass book a restaurant?
No. The official terms distinguish admission from table availability. Make and retain a separate restaurant reservation when a particular meal is important.
Which At-Turaif opening hours should I use?
Official pages differed during our check. The main visitor page listed an evening opening, but confirm the date-specific ticket instructions before arranging transport or dinner.
